To kick off this partnership, Breville and True Value fired up the grill for the first Sandwich Showdown for a Cause last April 22 at Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Ten parent-kid pairs showed off their sandwich making skills. In the first round, each pair was challenged to prepare their own sandwich masterpieces using only the ingredients made available. The top pair per batch with the highest score advanced to the next round.
