Breville Philippines is cautioning the public against transacting with online sellers/resellers without verifying first if they are really official dealers or online partner-merchants of the company.

This is after Breville Philippines received three scam alerts wherein customers were taken advantage of by a “scammer” offering Breville products using the Facebook name “Pepper Stark”.

In the first and third incident, customers inquired directly with Pepper Stark after seeing an advertisement made by the latter via Facebook Marketplace. This person was offering the products at half the original price of Breville products.

In the second case, a customer paid P12,000 to the online scammer but again the product was not delivered. The customer reported the matter directly to Breville Philippines.

Breville Philippines is also informing the public that the company has recently encountered a scammer who obtained Breville products illegally. This scammer will most likely sell these fraudulently obtained products, which makes both the buyer and the seller criminally liable under the anti-fencing provisions of the Revised Penal Code.

Keep in mind that these products are considered stolen.

To avoid getting victimized by these scammers, Breville Philippines is advising the public to transact only with Breville’s official dealers and resellers, as well as get in touch with the company through the official sites and channels of Breville Philippines:
