Junior Masterchef Louise Mabulo

Behind the Scenes: Junior Masterchef Louise Mabulo exclusively shares her recipe to Choose Philippines

Mabulo will be featured on the site demonstrating different dishes she created personally. Also, the young chef shared little pieces of her through cooking demos held at their hometown in San Fernando, Camarines Sur.

“We chose Louise simply because she is the right epitome of a beautiful young woman who excels not only in her culinary journey, but also in sports, academics, and a lot more. Truly a role model for the youth,” said Philip Yerro Kimpo Jr., Choose Philippines Editor.

Kimpo shared that his team had much pleasure working with the young Bicolana who is cooking her way to the hearts of everyone she encounters.

At a very young age, Louise has already accomplished a lot. She was a finalist in ABS-CBN's Junior Master Chef cooking competition when she was 12. She is currently the youngest ambassador of Breville Philiipines, and an active charity warrior. Moreover, the teenage chef also engages herself to archery. In fact, she will be off to Hongkong to join the Southeast Asian Meet in the archery field.

Amidst her prized achievements, her first love will always be cooking. Her culinary inspiration is her hometown in the middle of Bicol, which is known for creamy and the spiciest dishes. With fusion dishes such as Laing Cordon Bleu, a modern take on Kinalas (a soup-based dish famous in the region), Bicol Express Curry Ribs, and Mango Turon Cheesecake, Louise wants to introduce local culinary delights to the rest of the world -- an admirable patriotic trait for someone so young.
